Veterans Memorial Park was created to honor the many service men and women who have proudly served our country. This one-of-a-kind military themed playground features a variety of fun and challenging activities for children of all ages.
Veterans Memorial Park features a picnic shelter with a grill, two picnic tables and a Little Free Library Box. This popular neighborhood park came to fruition when the GHPRD sold property to Marshall University for the construction of the MU Soccer Complex. Proceeds from the sale of property and a great partnership with Marshall University made it possible for the GHPRD to design and develop the park.
