GHPRD is saddened to hear of the passing of Patricia “Pat” Daugherty.
Pat was a beloved friend and dedicated supporter of the Park District. Through her involvement with the Buford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), we had the privilege of working alongside her on many events and projects over the years.
The historic cabin in Ritter Park was a true labor of love for Pat and, at times, felt like a second home to her. Her passion for preserving history and serving her community was evident in everything she did. Pat lived an exemplary life of service, and we are all better for having had her in our corner.
We extend our deepest condolences to Pat’s family and friends. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
