Miller School Park is a public park located at 620 12th Avenue in Huntington, WV. It is part of the city’s network of community green spaces.

The park opened in 2011 after Miller Elementary School – originally built in 1915 – was closed and demolished. Today, the park hosts neighborhood events, such as craft fairs and community gatherings.

Miller School Park Features

  • Walking path for casual strolls and outdoor enjoyment
  • Three porch swings.
  • A Little Free Library for book sharing.
  • Big Jim Field, a nearby open grassy area used for informal recreation, named after “Big Jim” St. Clair.
  • A memorial honoring the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, offering a place of reflection.
