Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for today’s GHPRD POWER WHEELS DERBY! What an incredible group of kiddos racing their hearts out, and grown-ups who came ready to cheer them on!
A special thank-you to our amazing sponsors who are competing in a fundraising race of their own: Lattas, Sarah Walling, and Holly Smith Mount! Don’t forget, all raffles close at 6 PM tonight, with each winner announced on Monday.
And an extra-big thank-you to our hardworking staff! This event takes an all-hands-on-deck effort, and we truly couldn’t do it without our incredible team. From our recreation staff coordinating the event and diesel mechanic inspecting every car, to our maintenance crew handling all the heavy lifting that comes with setup and takedown, to our Executive Director on-site numbering vehicles- everyone plays an important role in making this event happen.
We love our community, and we had SO much fun spending the day with you!
Up next… spooky season!
