Embark on an adventure that is out of this world! Travel to the East End of Huntington to visit Altizer Park. Your kids can take a trip to space in the Bell X-1, walk across the galaxy-themed surface to bounce weightlessly on the mini trampoline or climb the space pod and swing to the stars.

Altizer Park has a great outer-space themed playground, a walking track with outdoor exercise stations as well as a basketball court, picnic shelter, Little Free Library Box and softball field.

Altizer Park Shelter

The Shelter at Altizer Park accommodates 30 people and is available from 8 am until dark. This shelter features:

  • Little League ball field
  • Basketball court
  • Six (6) tables
  • One (1) charcoal grill
  • Two (2) electrical outlets

Note: this shelter is handicap accessible.

Rental Fee: $100 per day
