Ritter Park is located in Huntington, West Virginia. It is a public park maintained by the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District. It consists of numerous lengthy walking trails along Four Pole Creek, restroom facilities, picnic tables, shelter with grills and electrical outlets, a children's playground including the "Dinosaur Dig", and a 1,000 seat amphitheater that can be used for small concerts and plays. It is well known for its Rose Garden, including the "Room with a View" that can be reserved for weddings and special occasions. It also is the location of the Ritter Park Tennis Center. This facility is open to the public and has eleven outdoor tennis courts and four indoor courts. The Ritter Park Tennis Center is host to many tournaments including: Huntington Area Qualifier, Ohio Valley Boys 16 & Under Championships, Ohio Valley Boys 12 & Under Indoor Championships and WV Open Indoor Championships. The facility also offers a wide range of instructional programs for the beginner to advanced player. •

SEND EMAILReservation Policy: ONLY ONE RENTAL PER DAY Reservations booked two weeks in advance or more must be paid within seven (7) working days of booking. Reservations booked less than two weeks from occupancy date must be paid within twenty-four (24) hours of booking. Some reservations require a damage deposit and user fee. Each will be paid by separate checks. Ritter Park Shelter Reservation Fee: $70.00 (Friday-Sunday) $45 (Monday-Thursday) Ritter Park 10th Street Fountain Area Hours are anytime from 8:00am to dark. Electric available. Maximum Capacity: 150 Reservation Fee: $50.00 Ritter Park Pathway Hours are anytime from 8:00am to dark. Located at Ritter Park. Used for walks and runs. Reservation Fee: $125.00 Ritter Park Stone Circle Hours are anytime from 8:00am to dark. Located at the 8th Street end of Ritter Park. Reservation Fee: $30.00 Ritter Park Bush Donation Fee: $50.00 Ritter Park Amphitheater Maximum Capacity: 1,000 Hours are anytime between 8:00am to 11:00pm. After 6 hours a $25/hr attendant fee will be added (one employee). Police offers will need to be scheduled depending on the event. Minimum of 2 officers for 4 hours at $26/hr each. Located at Ritter Park. Restrooms and parking available. Entire Facility Includes 12 tables, 72 chairs, electrical, water and the inside of the Amphitheater. Reservation Fee: $300.00 Damage Deposit: $300.00 Outer Area Only To be used as a shelter, 12 tables, 72 chairs and restrooms. Reservation Fee: $180.00 Damage Deposit: $300.00 Ritter Park Rose Garden "Room with a View" (In Season) Memorial Day through September, this includes the grounds. The grounds reserve anytime between 8:00am to dark and the room reserves anytime between 8:00am and 11:00pm. Reservation Fee: $325.00 Damage Deposit: $300.00 Ritter Park Rose Garden "Room with a View" (Off Season) October to Memorial Day except Thanksgiving through New Years Day, this does not include the grounds. Day Reservation Fee: $100.00 Damage Deposit: $300.00 Ritter Park Rose Garden The first bloom is the middle of May and is in full bloom the 2nd week of June. Grounds will hold approximately 100 chairs. Room only 40 chairs, 4 small rectangular tables (24" x 40"), 6 larger rectangular tables (24" x 48"), 6 round tables (4' diameter). Ritter Park Rose Garden Grounds The first bloom is the Middle of May and is in full bloom. Maximum Capacity: 100+ chairs (depending on set-up) Hours are anytime from 8:00am to dark. Grounds only.
